DESCRIPTION: [Thomas] Vurleyl, Wisbeack, England, tall case clock, 8 day, time and bell strike, weight driven movement, c. 1840, in a c. 1780 string inlaid mahogany case with pagoda top, brass finials, crotch mahogany trunk door, fluted columns flanking hood.
CONDITION: the case retains an old finish. The finials and feet are replacements. The movement, which needs to be restrung, is approximately 60 years later than the case. The painted metal dial has "W&H" signature on back.
